A Gucci icon from the 1947 reissued in Feb 2022. You'll see it on many fashion and celebrity icons through the 70 and 80s. What we have here is the version from mid-90s that doesn't show its age at all. So why pay over 3 times the price in store when you can secure this really spectacular piece at a fraction.
In unbelievably tip-top condition, this Gucci vintage bag is full textured leather exterior with no faults found in the front, bottom and all sides of bag. This bag features the classic Gucci bamboo handle and lock clasp. Even the matt gold hardware is in very good condition - no loss of colour. The only thing to highlight is the area just under handle hooks which caused minor indents on the bag on both ends. This is inevitable by design but because of the nature of leather, the rubs are hardly noticeable at all.
No scuff marks at the all corners of the bag.
The interior is lined with leather and on the adjacent side where the bamboo clasp is located, it has a card slot secured with a button. Directly opposite is another slot and a zipper compartment with a double G design. Leather tag prints "Gucci" and "Made in Italy" in gold with the unique serial number XXX-XXXX-XXX located on the underside of the tag.
Bag comes with removable original leather sling with drop ~54cm which suits both shoulder sling and cross body. Or carry without the sling as top handle bag.
Clean interior, no foul or storage smell, no peeling.
Comes with original dust bag, care card and box + entrupy!
Approximate size: 20 cm (length), 14.5 cm (height), 5.5cm (width). Bamboo Handle drop ~10cm. Also known as the small version.
Age: From mid-90s - so around 20+ years (definitely doesn't look her age)
Condition: As pre-loved, each item will have minor imperfections which we will try to capture as much details in our photos under natural light. We class this as excellent condition, this item do not have any smell nor show any signs of peeling or rust. In fact, we usually don't use 'immaculate' on pre-loved but this bamboo bag is really close to perfect.
